Ignacio High School Main Gymnasium

The main gymnasium is home to our varsity athletics which features bleachers on its west and east sides. Adjacent to the main gym is the commons area which has a dedicated concession area, seating, and and view of our main gym activities via a 70" television.

Ignacio High School Auxiliary Gymnasium

Previously the Jr. High Gym, the Ignacio High School Auxiliary Gymnasium received a face lift during the IHS renovations. The gym installed opaque windows for natual lighting, scoreboards upgrades, a new concession area, and renovations to the boys and girls locker rooms. The aux gym compliments the main gym to help host volleyball, basketball, and wrestling events as well as various school and community functions. 

         The auxiliary gym can be accessed via the aux gym entrance.

Athletic Training Room located in Ignacio High School

  • The room is the on-site health care facility for all of Ignacio High School athletes during the school year
  • Since 2008, Mercy Regional Medical Center and Ignacio School District have worked together to provide an athletic trainer full time for Ignacio Athletes
